Nobody ever talks about how your vibe tells on you

Nobody ever talks about vibes when it comes to people, with one exception, when you're talking about someone who's giving a good or a bad vibe or anything in between. But there are many books written about psychology and charisma, and they talk about body language techniques like mirroring, they talk about thinking of the other person as a main character in a movie. Those are things they suggest you do when you want to be liked. In my experience, that is not the whole picture.

Everybody pays attention to your vibe, some call it confidence, but nearly every single person pays attention to your vibe, and it's reflected in your words, in your writing, in the way you look. Vibe is the most important thing. It overshadows your actions. I mean you could walk with a bad vibe and people will assume you're about to break into their car. Or you could walk with a good vibe and people will turn their heads to look at you in awe. Both scenarios could happen minutes within each other, but you're still the same person.

Which brings me to say that vibes are so superficial of a measure, but everybody is still using it. It can often be misleading, yet it feels like people of every culture depend on it. I don't know. I don't think it's mentioned often enough for how ubiquitous of a practice it is to judge somebody based on the energy they give off. Have you heard anyone seriously talk about this?
